Cancellation Policy

At Gharaana every order is carefully processed to deliver the highest quality standards. As many of our products involve production and preparation time, our cancellation policy is designed to ensure transparency while covering operational costs.

1.⁠ ⁠Full Product Range & Non Ready-to-Ship Items
(Includes dining tables, beds, sofas, any orders needing customization or those which will be shipped later than 7days)
•⁠  ⁠Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of placement.
•⁠  ⁠After 48 hours, the order moves into production and cancellation will not be possible.
•⁠  ⁠In such cases, a 30% cancellation fee will be applicable to cover production costs incurred for the order.

2.⁠ ⁠Ready-to-Ship Products
•⁠  ⁠Cancellation requests are accepted within 2 hours of order placement or before dispatch, whichever is earlier.
•⁠  ⁠Once the product is packed or dispatched, cancellation will not be possible.

Exceptional Support Cases
While cancellations may not be feasible beyond the above timelines, we aim to support you with the following alternatives:
•⁠  ⁠Before Dispatch: A 100% store credit may be offered.
•⁠  ⁠After Dispatch: A 90% store credit may be offered.
•⁠  ⁠Refunds to the original payment method are not applicable in such cases.
•⁠  ⁠If a cancellation is approved under exceptional circumstances, a 30% cancellation fee will apply.

Refund & Resolution Policy
At Gharaana, every product is crafted with care and thoughtfully delivered to your space. We understand that furniture is a meaningful investment - and our goal is to ensure you're delighted with what you receive.

While we do not offer refunds, we’re committed to making things right if something isn't as expected. Our Resolution Policy is designed to address any rare issues with the defective product, through replacements, part fixes, or exchanges - depending on what’s most appropriate.

Packaging & Reporting Timelines
To be eligible for any resolution, please ensure that:

  • The original packaging is retained at the time of raising a concern. This helps our team assess the issue accurately and process replacements or fixes smoothly.
  • Any concerns are reported within 48 hours of delivery by reaching out to us on +91-9667111778 along with clear photos or videos of the issue.

Requests raised beyond this timeline or without intact packaging may not qualify for support. Once all requirements are met, the processing timeline shall be 7 days.

Defective products must be reported within 48 hours of delivery and are eligible for replacement or exchange within 7 days of delivery

We do not offer refunds. Exchanges are provided only as part of defect resolution and not as a general return or exchange policy

Why We Don’t Offer Refunds
Our pieces are made to order or stocked in limited batches, often with custom finishes and large dimensions. Given the nature of furniture logistics - and to maintain hygiene, safety, and product quality - we do not process refunds on any items, including furniture.

Instead, if something isn’t right, we promise to work with you to find a fair and efficient resolution - be it a part replacement, repair, or full exchange.

What Qualifies for a Resolution?
You're eligible for support if:

  • The item arrives damaged
  • There’s a manufacturing defect
  • You receive the wrong product or finish

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery, along with supporting photos/videos, and we’ll guide you on the next steps.

What Doesn’t Qualify?
To maintain transparency, here’s what is not covered:

  • Concerns raised after 48 hours of delivery
  • Damages caused after delivery due to mishandling or relocation
  • Absence of original packaging at the time of inspection
  • Natural variations in wood grain, tone, or finish — part of the character of handcrafted solid wood
  • Minor finish deviations within acceptable limits, as it is a hallmark of handmade wooden furniture
  • Logistics-related delays beyond our control
